“The house is nestled in a quaint street across the street from the entrance to a nature preserve in Ojai. It’s newly refurbished, sparkling clean and tidy. The pool is the first thing you see as you walk in. The landscaping welcomes you to this sleek and beautiful modern house. Once inside the house, you have a feel of the indoors being outdoors and vice versa. There are many interesting and clever architectural features to the house but the main sense is ease. You just want to spend time there relaxing and enjoying the perfect weather. The poolside room is simply cool. And the trees give enough shade that you can be in that room or outdoors morning, noon and night. It’s a joy to be there.'“

“Our girls’ weekend in Ojai couldn’t have been better! Marta’s gorgeous home had ample room for three but would’ve been comfortable with 4 or 5 guests. This home is indeed a retreat. It is nestled in the surrounding desert hills and there is a great hike right out the front gate. The many thoughtful touches (including a chef’s kitchen, luxurious bedding, pool and wonderfully curated book collection) made it hard to leave.”

“Incredible, sophisticated, upscale and relaxing getaway in Ojai with a large, tranquil pool to cool off in or swim lazy laps amongst the peaceful grounds of mature trees and plants. The artwork is interesting and is placed well to catch the eye. The furnishings are well appointed and inviting. The beds were comfortable with high quality soft sheets and pillows that made for deep, restorative sleep for sweet dreams. The kitchen was open and inviting for entertaining should you take your meals in, and with enough service items to accommodate feeding your family or friends. The added benefit was the guest house which is a separate, large room for ultimate privacy and spaciousness. I recommend this house for adults or a small family.”

“Just one hour away from Los Angeles, Marta’s house in Ojai is the perfect escape from our busy lives. Nestled at the top of the mountain, just before entering Ojai Valley, it’s a wonderful house with open floor architecture and outdoor fire space, perfect for entertaining guests. The property also has a separate and spacious guest house with an eclectic decoration style. You will find a deep blue welcoming swimming pool in between the main house and guest house. It’s the cat’s meow!!! I highly recommend it. Not to mention the direct access to the state park hiking trail at the end of the street. It’s a stunning and relaxing get away, sure to renew your energy!”

The pool is the center of attention and easy to spend all day lounging around it. Yet we still took advantage of the hiking and biking trails located out the gate of the property which were another highlight of our stay. We would definitely visit again!”
